Our comprehensive standard cover package uses a ‘needs-based’ design that provides you with death and disability protection relative to your stage of life.
How much cover you need depends on your personal circumstances, but the reality is most Australians are underinsured.
Browse our case studies, showing at a human level, how the financial support of insurance can help you transition into the next phase of your life if the unexpected happens.
Everyone is different and circumstances change over time. It pays to regularly review your cover and make sure it’s right for you.
If you don’t think your insurance is right for you, you can apply to adjust your cover to your specific needs with options to increase, decrease or cancel your cover.
If you need to make an insurance claim, we’re here to help you through the process.
From 1 July 2018 Mercy Super adopted the Insurance in Superannuation Voluntary Code of Practice. The code provides a framework to improve the experience for members when interacting with the insurance cover provided through their super fund, with the overall aim to ensure the cover provided is appropriate and affordable.
This includes publishing our Insurance in superannuation – Key facts sheet providing you with an overview of our insurance cover to help you to better understand your cover and to compare cover across different superannuation funds.
