Celebrating Office Professionals Day

Today, Friday 3 May, is Office Professionals Day—a day we were proud to recognise and thank the 1,300 plus exceptional administration professionals across the Mater Group.

Often forgotten in the overall health care system, the administration professionals provide crucial behind-the-scenes support. The Administration Services teams within the Mater Group:

• manage patient appointments, referrals, and reception desks, and book surgery and procedures every day.
• collectively answer more than 70,000 incoming phone calls per month, and make over 76,000 outbound calls.
• interact with over 40,000 hospital patients per month.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to provide cupcakes on this special day, acknowledging and celebrating the dedication and extraordinary care demonstrated by the administration teams.
